Sungroup of Companies has renewed its water sponsorship agreement with FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, extending the partnership for another year through its flagship hydration brand, Refresh Water.

The official signing ceremony took place on Friday morning at Sunseed Group Headquarters in Lilongwe.

Representatives from both sides were present to celebrate the continued partnership, which plays a vital role in supporting the hydration and wellness of Malawi’s most successful football club.

Speaking at the event, Sungroup Chief Executive Officer Sameer Ahmed shared his enthusiasm about the renewal.

“It feels amazing to extend our partnership with The People’s Team. Since entering into this collaboration with FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, we’ve witnessed a significant increase in both brand visibility and product sales. The impact has been tangible, making this one of our most rewarding partnerships. We’re excited to continue this journey together.”

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Chief Executive Officer Albert Chigoga expressed gratitude for the renewed commitment:

“We are truly pleased. It’s encouraging to hear how beneficial this partnership has been for Sunseed, and we feel the same. Our teams consume a substantial amount of water, and this sponsorship greatly offsets our costs while ensuring players and staff stay hydrated throughout the season. We’re grateful for the continued support and encourage our fans to support Sunseed—not just Refresh Water, but all of their quality products.”

Under the renewed agreement, Refresh Water will continue to be supplied to all four teams under the FCB Nyasa Big Bullets structure: the First Team, Bullets Reserves, Bullets Women, and the Under-19s. Technical and administrative staff will also benefit from the sponsorship.

The partnership includes branding and visibility opportunities for both entities across marketing, digital, and matchday platforms.
